By accessing or using the Qulu platform at qulu.co.za ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Qulu offers both free and paid (Pro) tiers of service:
We reserve the right to modify which features are included in each tier at any time. Existing Pro subscribers will be given reasonable notice of any changes that materially affect their subscription.
Pro subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed securely through PayFast. We also accept bank deposits (EFT) for annual subscriptions — please contact us for banking details.

Past examination papers and official memoranda are the intellectual property of the Department of Basic Education (DBE) and the Independent Examinations Board (IEB). These documents are made available on Qulu for educational purposes in accordance with fair use principles.
The Qulu platform itself — including its design, code, quizzes, adaptive testing algorithms, study tools, and original content — is the intellectual property of Qulu Education and is protected by South African copyright law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the platform without our written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to ensure the accuracy of all educational content, we do not guarantee that:
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Qulu Education shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:
Upon termination, your right to access the Service will immediately cease. If your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms, you will not be entitled to a refund of any subscription fees.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
